1. HOW DOES BEEPEGG® WORK?
BeepEgg® constantly measures the outer temperature. With this data it calculates the core temperature of the egg. BeepEgg® knows at which temperature each stage is perfect. Once the egg has reached the desired stage, BeepEgg® will play a tune. One for soft, a different one for medium and yet another one for hard boiled.
2. DOES BEEPEGG® WORK EVERYWHERE?
Yes, due to its thermo-model, it works at all altitudes and under all conditions. You can use it at sea level as well as in the Rocky Mountains. You can boil one egg or twenty at a time, start with cold or boiling water. BeepEgg® will always be on point.
3. WHERE DO I STORE MY BEEPEGG®?
With your eggs. It doesn’t matter where it is. BeepEgg® works according to a thermal model, meaning it is only [egg]sact if BeepEgg® and the real egg have an identical temperature. An ideal storing place is the fridge.
4. DO I HAVE TO START BOILING WITH BOILING WATER?
No, you can also start your boiling process with cold water. Start as you like, just store BeepEgg® and real egg together before you start.
5. HOW TO MEET MY PERSONAL TASTE ON POINT?
Each edition plays three melodies, each melody signalizing one level of hardness. These three different tunes will each be repeated to meet the egg sizes as well as personal fine-tuning possibilities. So, know your tune and you’ll always get your eggs right.
6. WHY DOESN’T BEEPEGG® HAVE A SWITCH OR BUTTON?
BeepEgg® is always active. It does not need switches, since it is working according to a thermal model.
7. IS IT POSSIBLE TO BOIL MORE THAN ONE EGG AT A TIME WITH BEEPEGG®?
Yes, of course. One BeepEgg® can monitor as many eggs at a time as you want to boil. The more eggs you boil, the longer it takes (another BeepEgg® advantage, since a time based model would be imprecise, here, due to the fact that the number of eggs in the water influence the water’s temperature).
8. HOW DO I GET BEEPEGG® SILENT, ONCE THE EGGS ARE READY?
Rinsing off in cold water helps. After 15 seconds, BeepEgg® will be silent. An alternative is to put BeepEgg® back into the fridge, though this will take little longer.
9. HOW CAN I TELL THAT THE BATTERY IS FLAT AND WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Once the water in which BeepEgg® is boiling reaches 47°C, BeepEgg® will make a sound. This beep signals that BeepEgg® is alright. If this beep does not sound please dispose of BeepEgg®. Lay it on its side and push heavily until the shell opens up. Remove the inner electronic part and dispose of it as you would with any other battery. The battery is food safe and encapsulated.
10. IS IT POSSIBLE TO EXCHANGE THE BATTERY?
No, for food safety reasons it is not possible to exchange the battery as it is encapsulated.
11. WHY DOES BEEPEGG® NOT LIVE FOREVER?
Due to food safety reasons, we have to seal the electronic part containing the battery. Therefore the battery cannot be exchanged. There is a 2-year warranty though, and at regular usage, it lasts way longer.
12. WHICH “TREATMENT” IS PROHIBITED FOR BEEPEGG®?
Never use BeepEgg® in a microwave. It would be a lethal verdict. Never use a pan without water, since the plastic shell would melt.
13. WHERE DOES BEEPEGG® COME FROM?
BeepEgg® is a quality product and “Made in Germany”. A German invention which is also produced on our home turf.
FAQ drip.line and drip.it
Do drip.it and drip.line fit any sink?
Yes, If extended, it is at 22.2” which fits most sinks horizontally or vertically. If not, simply use it diagonally across the corners of the sink.
Does drip.it come with the “bottle tray”?
Yes, the tray is included and removable
Does drip.it fit the SodaStream Crystal bottles?
Yes as well as most other bottles sold in the US.
Why do drip.line and drip.it make my kitchen a “hygienic” place?
Damp dishcloths, rags or sponges are breeding grounds for bacteria. Which is why Food & Wine magazine says ““There’s more E. coli in a kitchen sink than in a toilet after you flush it“, because the sink is constantly used for food prep and stays constantly moist. But if sponges and towels are washed out and dried properly, this issue can be prevented. The drip.line offers your rags and cloths a space-saving, clean place to dry. Works for brushes, sponges and most certainly the reusable bottles you use every day.
Are drip.line or drip.it capable of holding casseroles as a trivet?
With drip.line, you ideally take two. With drip.it one is sufficient.
Will drip.line and drip.it fit my drawer?
Yes, they will. Even with smaller drawers, as it is extendable from 12.8” – 22.2”
How can drip.line and drip.it hold a colander or strainer to drain cooked or washed food?
Simply place one handle of the colander over the sink and place drip.line / drip.it underneath the other handle. This way it gets a stable hold in the sink and the food can drain properly. (see product pictures)
Are drip.line and drip it dishwasher-safe?
Yes, they are. And rustproof as well.
Do drip.line or drip.it contain any BPA?
No, both are 100% BPA free.

HOW DOES THE SOI. PURSE LIGHT WORK?
SOI is an automatic handbag light. It needs no buttons or switches. A light tap causes SOI to light up and it turns off automatically after 10 seconds. Technically speaking, it operates on a capacity sensor that reacts to the approaching hand. SOI is driven by two AAA batteries.
ARE BATTERIES INCLUDED AND CAN THEY BE EXCHANGED?
Yes, a set of two AAA batteries is included and they can be exchanged. Simply twist the upper part of the SOI product anti-clockwise while holding the bottom part. This will open the product and now you can easily exchange the batteries.
DOES SOI HAVE A SWITCH OR BUTTON TO TURN IT ON?
No. The special feature of the SOI purse light is that it is sensor driven. You don’t have to turn it on or off. It automatically illuminates for 10 seconds once the sensor activates the light. Basically just go through your purse with your hands and it will illuminate.
WILL SOI ALSO WORK WHEN YOU WEAR GLOVES?
Yes, as the SOI purse light operates with a capacity sensor and not a touch interface or a temperature based sensor, it will also work when you wear gloves. It also works in the winter when it’s cold outside.
FOR HOW LONG WILL SOI BE ILLUMINATED ONCE TURNED ON?
SOI. will automatically be activated for 10 seconds.
HOW MANY TIMES CAN I USE SOI UNTIL THE BATTERIES ARE DEAD?
One set of the included AAA batteries (which can be exchanged) is good for 6000 on and off cycles. In most cases this will last 1.5 – 2 years, but this depends how often you dig your purse.
DOES SOI HAVE A WARRANTY?
Yes, we are offering a 2-year warranty on the product.
HOW MUCH TIME CAN SOI SAVE YOU?
According to the “bag stories” study in Germany, women “waste” 76 days of their lives searching in their purses. SOI can save you a fair amount of that portion.
IS SOI GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THE PURSE?
Yes, of course. It can be used as a bedside light, a travel light for camping, one can use it in a tool box or gun cabinet and it makes a great light by a baby bed, as it is bright enough to see what’s happening, but not that bright to wake anybody up. It basically is a perfect mobile light companion, for wherever you go and need some light.
DOES SOI MAKE A GREAT GIFT?
Yes, indeed. It’s perfect as a small Christmas gift, a stocking stuffer and also perfect for many other occasions, as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day a small bridal gift. It matches many events.
WHERE IS SOI MADE?
SOI is “Made in Germany”, guaranteeing sustainable and fair production as well as high quality standards.
IS SOI MANUFACTURED RESPONSIBLY?
Yes, we do as much as we can to manufacture SOI in a responsible manner. The packaging is made of a recycled card box and has been granted the “blue angel” seal of approval for eco friendliness. How do I sharpen a PanoramaKnife?
As with any serrated blade, you will barely have to sharpen our knives. They will remain sharp for a very long time. If you do decide to sharpen the blade, though, simply do so from the backside of the blade.
What’s the universal knife range of application?
The universal knife, as the name states, can be used for multiple functions. From kitchen prep for cooking (cutting veggies or meats) to use at the table to cut steak, pizza or whatever needs to be sliced.
Is the PanoramaKnife dishwasher safe?
We recommend to handwash our knives, but you can also put them in the dishwasher. The walnut handles will brighten over time in the dishwasher and the handle’s surface feel will change, though.
Will the knife cut properly as the mountain shapes cause an unevenly serrated blade?
Absolutely! The serration’s shape by no means influences the quality of the cutting. It just makes it more unique and beautiful.
Why are the knives made in Switzerland?
Our knives are handcrafted in Switzerland since the country is renowned for its precision craftsmanship and high-quality manufacturing standards. This results in knives that are not only functional and beautiful, but also durable and long-lasting.
How are the mountain range shapes transferred into the knife blade?
We use a special secret technique in the handcrafted process, which allows us to create a unique serrated blade, resembling mountain ranges. This guarantees a great quality knife, but also an emotional product.
Specifically, what type of steel is the blade made from?
Surgical steel. Rockwell hardness 54-55 HRC (1.4116). Material name AISI 440A

How does the SOAPI magnetic soap holder work?
The SOAPI holder uses an integrated magnet that secures your soap or solid shampoo bar. Simply insert a bottle cap into the soap and attach it to the magnet, allowing the soap to air-dry naturally, which helps extend its life and prevent mushiness.
Do I need to use a specific type of soap for this holder?
No, you can use any standard bar soap or solid shampoo. You just need to insert a bottle cap (not included) into the soap to attach it to the magnetic holder.

No, SOAPI is designed for easy, tool-free installation. It comes with a strong adhesive, allowing you to securely attach the holder to any smooth surface, such as tiles, mirrors, or glass, without the need for drilling.
Can SOAPI be used in the shower or bath?
